Phil Rosenfield is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Physics and Astronomy “G. Galilei” at the University of Padova, Italy. His research is focused on improving stellar evolution models using data from the Hubble Space Telescope. Phil is also intersted in making affordable digital planetariums to increase children’s enthusaism in astronomy. Before Padova, he earned a PhD at the University of Washington and a Master’s from San Diego State University. He plays blues piano and is originally from Minneapolis, MN and has no cats.

What I found hardest about using Git the first time was remembering the names of the commands to do what I wanted git to do.
