Achaz von Hardenberg is a wildlife ecologist working at the Alpine Wildlife Research Centre of the Gran Paradiso National Park, Italy. His main research interests are in behavioural ecology, population dynamics, molecular ecology, biodiversity monitoring, conservation and in the application of both Bayesian and classical statistical approaches to model ecological data.
He is also a casual lecturer in Ecological Data Management and Analysis at the University of Turin and regularly teaches short courses and workshop on data analysis using R and JAGS for ecologists.
