Nichole Bennett is a Ph.D. candidate in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior at The University of Texas at Austin. She uses next generation sequencing to uncover the interaction between local adaptation and thermal biology in Edith’s checkerspot butterfly. Outside of research, she is involved in science outreach (science radio show and lecture series) and statistics/programming education.
