Ian lives in New York City and is a scientist at Opera Solutions. Work provides a mixture of researching and developing credit risk models, as well as teaching software tools to others. During the spring 2013 semester, he will teach a course on applied data science with Rachel Schutt. The course will have students build software tools and then apply them to real data science problems.
