Aleksandra is a PhD student at The Open University in the United Kingdom. She is currently writing up her thesis (expected completion in Spring 2013) which investigates documentation production and use in the context of scientific software development. Her background is in computer science and sociology. This combination is quite helpful in understanding how software engineering should be adapted for different contexts of software development.
