Hans-Martin von Gaudecker is a Professor of Economics at the University of Bonn. His research focuses on how households manage risks they face over the life-cycle with respect to their health, labor income, or financial investments. He is using Python for most of his work and has previously taught a Software Carpentry-like course for economics and social science Ph.D.-students.
